The 2024 USS Lloyd Thomas Houston/Galveston Reunion has been scheduled for April 18th through the 21st.
We reached an agreement with the Hilton Houston NASA Clear Lake hotel located at 3000 NASA Parkway, Houston, TX 77058. The hotel will offer us rooms at $139.00 per night, and will include breakfast for two per room.
Thursday, April 18th will be our Check In Day, with a Welcome Buffet available at 6 PM.
Our schedule will include a visit to the NASA Historic Mission Control Center at Johnson Space Center on Friday, April 19th.
On Saturday, April 20, we will visit Moody Gardens on Galveston Island, do some sightseeing and conduct our Memorial Service at the Galveston Naval Museum at Sea Wolf Park.
Sunday, April 21 will be a free morning, with a business meeting in the afternoon, and the Farewell Banquet that evening.
I know that these dates are not convenient for some of our most loyal reunion attendees, but these were the best dates for the hotel, and considering other events happening in the area around the end of April.

If you plan on flying, Mike recommends Southwest Airlines into Houston Hobby Airport (HOU), rather than Bush International (IAH), which is on the other side of Houston from our hotel. Hobby is still a distance from the hotel, but not as bad as IAH.
