William E. Duvall, III

William Edward Duvall II, 74, of Goose Creek, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018. He was born October 3, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late William Duvall Sr. and Isabelle Smith Duvall. He married April Best on April 25, 1972, in Honolulu, HI, and they spent 46 wonderful years together before his passing.

He loved his family and his country, he served for 30 years in US Navy, and wished he could have served more and was always ready to answer the call if his country needed him. He will be dearly missed by his family.

His survivors include his loving wife April J. Duvall, of Goose Creek, his daughter, April Renee Stile of Linden, VA, two sons, Lance Duvall of Goose Creek and Justin Duvall Jr. of North Charleston, three grandchildren, Gabrielle Stile, Jazilynn Duvall, and Justin Duvall Jr. Along with his parents, William was preceded in death by a grandson Christian Stile.

The family received friends Tuesday evening, September 11, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm followed by a funeral service, with Military Honors at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave. in North Charleston. Inurnment was held for October 3, 2018 in Beaufort National Cemetery.
