James was born on March 21, 1934 and passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018.
James was a resident of Cotuit, Massachusetts at the time of passing.
Once his children graduated high school he and Ruth moved to Cotuit, MA.
He joined the Navy at the age of 18 and served in the Vietnam War on the USS Lloyd Thomas as MCSC (1962-65) and the USS Bainbridge. Jim and Celia Pierce were regular attendees at our reunions.
A wake was held on Monday, January 29, 2018 from 6-9 pm at Freeman Funeral Home. The Funeral Service was held at 11 am on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at Freeman Funeral Home with his granddaughter, Amy Chalifoux-Braucher and Bro. Kenny Ball officiating. Interment was in the Corinth Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions were asked to be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America, the American Cancer Society, and/or the Moffitt Cancer Center.
