ELIZABETHVILLE, PA - Paul A. Lyter, 79, passed away December 15, 2018 at home.

He was born September 17, 1939 in Fisherville, PA. He was the son of the late William Alton and Ethel Jane (Paul) Lyter.

Paul married Natalie (Geyer) Lyter on October 20, 1962.

He retired as an Supervisor from AT&T Harrisburg Office.

Paul enlisted in the Navy and was honorably discharged after serving on the USS Lloyd Thomas, and in the Naval Reserves.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville, a member of Ashlar Lodge No. 570 F&AM, Lykens, Sons of the American Revolution Ft. Halifax Chapter, a charter member of the former Upper Dauphin Area Lions Club, and a member of the Elizabethville Historical Society.

In addition to his wife Natalie he is survived by his daughter Amy and her husband Jim Sellman of Limerick, PA, and grandchildren Ryan and Nicole.

He was preceded in death by a sister Ruth (Lyter) Herb.

The family received friends on Thursday, Dec. 20th at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes Inc., Elizabethville from 6:00 PM- 8:00 PM. Masonic Services were held Thursday evening at 7:30 PM. There was another viewing on Friday, Dec. 21st at Salem Lutheran Church, Elizabethville from 9:30-11:00 am, with funeral services at at 11:00 am. Burial with military honors followed at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
